Study  and Research Group in Behavior Analysis

Ceuma University

The General objective is to carry out studies and research on analytical-behavioural therapy applied to adolescents, adults and children with typical and atypical development. Their specific objectives are to develop projects whose goals are related to the analysis of contingencies responsible for behavior problems as identified in adult patient files, proposing interventions capable of reducing behavioral excesses and establishing more healthy or adaptive behaviors whose use may generally be lacking, in order to improve quality of life.

It also seeks to develop projects whose goals are related to the analysis of contingencies responsible for the behaviors of children and adolescents, proposing intervention methodologies to reduce excessive behaviors, establishing more healthy or adaptive behaviors at a rate that improves life quality. Recreational resources play a major role in research and treatment intervention development for the group. GEPAC further aims to develop projects whose emphasis is on the programming of methodologies and intervention technologies for individuals with atypical development ( particularly autism/related conditions) identified by the own client or their parents. They strive to propose intervention methodologies capable of reducing behavioral excesses and to increase the adoption and frequency of more healthy behaviors. The group constantly works, by means of specific resources and technologies, to improve the quality of life for their client niche.
